Sales Support Administrator
Date posted: 22/02/2008Maple Systems are looking to enhance their efficiency in dealing with sales enquiries and achieving a better customer satisfaction. In this new role you will provide day to day support to Maple Systems sales team and carry out other activities assisting customers and internal team members.
Salary: £12,000 - £18,000 per annum

Key responsibilities:
- Answering phones & emails
- Logging Sales & Technical calls
- Booking Sales & Technical appointments
- Sales & Technical Diary Management
- Providing quotations to customers, as directed by Account Manager
- Liaising with Technical team & customer to ensure smooth running of engineers
- Liaising with Administration/Accounts team
- Updating Sales logs
- Updating CRM system
- Researching stock price & availability
- Creating sales orders & product part codes on Sage Line 50
- Monitoring order progress from quote to invoice and provision of post-sale support
- Manage returns

- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal departments
- Good keyboard skills & PC literate
- Team player
- Ability to take ownership of queries/problems to resolution
- Minimum of 5 GCSE's inc Maths and English
- Ability to deal effectively with difficult customers
- Able to apply initiative
Desirable attributes:
- A background / interest in IT
- A working knowledge of Sage Line 50
- To be commercially aware
- Experience in a customer facing role
