Case Study 1*
We were contacted to repair a HP colour LaserJet printer where there was a problem with the paper feeding mechanism. It was established that the printer was out of warranty. The original cost of the printer was in excess of £1,800.00, when first purchased over two years ago. The customer had over £200.00 worth of consumables and wanted to have the printer repaired. The printer was brought to our workshop where upon inspection we identified that the main board had a fault and would need replacing. The replacement cost of the board and labour charges were over £300.00. The customer was given the choice of having the printer repaired or purchase a new printer at a cost of £250.00 + Vat. We advised the customer that the repair was not an economical option despite having £200.00 worth of consumables.
Case Study 2*
An anxious lady called us about the possibility of recovering her holiday photos taken on a Caribbean cruise which were lost on her PC. The PC in question had a corruption on the Operating System and was taken to the supplier who first supplied the PC. The supplier of the PC carried out a recovery installation where the PC was re-set to original factory settings with all the data cleared. Upon inspecting the PC by our technicians; using a recovery tool we were able to recover all her photos at a great relief to the lady concerned.* All case studies presented on the web site may refer to real situations or are for illustration purposes to show the range of services we offer.
